Participants will learn about the nations Silent Mass Disaster which involves thousands of long-term missing persons and unidentified remains throughout the country. Participants will learn about issues related to missing persons, as well as unidentified remains in Cuyahoga County and the United States. Common problems and pitfalls associated with attempts to match deceased persons with long-term missing person’s cases will be addressed and a number of case studies will be presented.
